2018 / 2019 Season

It was over 56 years ago that conductor Claude Monteux elevated the orchestra to a fully-professional ensemble, renaming it the Hudson Valley Philharmonic.

EDUCATION PERFORMANCE SERIES

The Bardavon’s goal is to enrich the lives of children by exposing them to extraordinary theatre, dance and musical programs. These original events and concerts engage young people through creative exploration and active participation. The Bardavon is proud to present the Daytime Performance Series, celebrating over 30 years of presenting programs for young people.

Since 1994 the Bardavon has brought together artists, businesses, and government to produce special community events. These activities draw thousands of residents and visitors to the region annually; provide free access to superb art; and boost community pride, urban revitalization, and cultural tourism.
